There is a high number young females getting pregnant at an early age hence the need to educate them on the dangers.There is also a high number of gender based violence cases around the country with some leading to death.

Through performances the community is able to see the effects and the dangers of the ills of the society.The engagement of the community members through the skits and finding solutions to the problems depicted within the acts and reflecting the real causes and what to be done to avoid the dangers that lie with the issues.The performances will include skits,spoken words and even songs which will bring out the vices well within the acts and the audience will relate well with it.

This approach is the best since young people do not like things that are boring inform of lectures and hence find it hard to concentrate.Therefore with an act inform of skits something that they can relate with and hence also find it interesting since it will involve humuor and the visuals will make the audience relate well with the subject being presented.They will also feel attached to whatever they will be seeing hence contribute to causes of such cases and solutions to prevent such vices from happening and solutions coming from tjemselves hence owning the process.

This form is the beat and it have a great impact within the community at large by seeing the acts and spoken words being presented in a good and comic way reflecting the real issues in the communitu.The project can be adopted in a larger scale by making sure we have performances all over the country by the same group or even having various groups all over the country in every county passing the same message hence reaching a wide number of the masses.

We have been travelling for the past ten years hence the experience with the performance and the zeal to do the same .we have also had several community outreaches programmes around the county with shows of topical issues affecting the community.The group has ten members making it a force to reckon with in terms of edutainment.The challenges always comes with the finacial muscles since all this performances need money so as everything can run smoothly and achieve the goal intended.The other challenge may come from the host community especially those that are advocating for the fgm within their communities since they will fight so hard to make sure that the practice continues.This can be mitigated by informing the area chiefs and barazas of our aim for the community outreach programmes and also inform the law enforcement officers within the area.
