Problem Statement:

Unreported cases due to stigma, fear and cultural norms which leads to lack of accurate data leads to the extent of the problem. Awareness
campaigns are done temporary thus not reaching many people.

Innovation Description:

Develop and promote ongoing awareness campaigns that challenge social norms, educate on consequences of gender based violence and provide resources and counselling to survivors. Advocate stronger legal measures and better enforcement. Create social platforms to convey message and reach many people. Engage communities and leader to change attitudes and norms surrounding gender based violence.

Uniqueness and Innovation:

By bringing long term solutions we will educate and influence younger generation, ensuring they grow up with better understanding of gender equality and respect. Other people focus on intervention and support for survivors us we will aim on creating awareness campaigns aim to prevent gender based violence from occurring.

Impact and Scalability:

Empower survivors to come forward and seek help and realize they are not alone and that help is available. Discussing gender based violence and challenging social norms, awareness campaigns can reduce stigma to survivors. Educating the public about different form of gender based violence, rights for survivors and available resources empowers them to protect themselves and support others. Government may strengthen the law and enforcement against gender based violence as people challenge harmful cultural norms. Create social media platform in order to educate and create awareness to more people.

Implementation Plan:

Resources include funds that we will be helping the survivors, host events and transport.
Maintaining long term awareness may be difficult due to risks of donor fatigue and shifting public interest. Challenge of cultural and social norms related to gender based violence can face resistance from those who benefit from those norms. Speaking out about gender based violence may lead to legal challenges.

Engage public through social media and events.
Work with educational institution and community organization to implement educational programs to address gender based violence.
Collaborate with both public and private sectors including gender based violence to reach more people.
Use communication channels, languages and storytelling techniques to make the issue more accessible.
