| Innovation Description: | My innovation is a mobile app that empowers girls and communities to end FGM and early marriages. It works by providing information, education and support to girls at risk of these practices, as well engaging with parents and elders. |
| Uniqueness and Innovation: | By connects girls with mentors,peers and role models who have experienced or escaped FGM and early marriages and also invites elders, parents to join the conversation and learn about harms and benefits of ending FGM and early marriages. |
| Impact and Scalability: | Gender Equality: it can help prevent and reduce the prevalence of FGM and Early marriages in my area which affect million of girls every year, it improve health and well-being of girls who are subjected to FGM and early marriages and education and opportunities of girls who are forced to drop out of school. |
| Implementation Plan: | Health risks:FGM and Early marriages can cause physical and psychological trauma, such as bleeding, infection,pain,shock, anxiety and depression. Also education risks: FGM and early marriages can force girls drop out of school or miss out on learning opportunities, such as scholarships and vacational training. |
